Drilona has changed a lot as a person over senior year. She has improved in many areas and has gained new skills in subjects she wasn't so good in middle school. She has been on the high honor roll for all semesters of the 11th grade and hopes to continue this strive for learning as she gets ready to go to college. Drilona has tested her boundaries by taking risks in Philosophy and improving on writing skills she wasn’t so good at in the beginning of the year. In Philosophy she was challenged to view things at different point of views she never even thought of before. . Also, throughout this school year she was able to find out what she wanted to major in college and that is political science. She is ready to pursue this career choice in college.
Drilona has made efforts to help her school community throughout the year by taking many community service opportunities after school to help the teachers with anything they would need done for them. Drilona has done things such as grading tests for teachers or helping them clean their rooms. She has helped the teachers during parent teacher conference by organizing their meetings so that all of them have time to speak to all of the parents. Drilona is proud of this community service she has done because she feels it shows how involved she is in her school community and how she wants to contribute to the community she is in by helping in anyway possible. Also, she was a member of the Participatory Budgeting and helped organize a lot of events to help better the community district that she lived in.
